Why Imona?
Hostel Imona is a family owned hostel that is on a mission to provide comfortable and friendly accommodation at affordable prices for the guests of Samarkand. The hostel is named after a first granddaughter of the family, Imona. She is now 14 months old. 

The Hostel
Hostel Imona has two spacious bedrooms: one for male guests and one for female guests. The all-male bedroom has 3 bunk beds accommodating up to 6 guests. The all-female bedroom has 2 bunk bed accommodating up to 4 guests. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom and restroom. All bunk beds are equipped with cozy mattresses reminding you of your own bed. Clean linens and towels are provided every day. 

The Amenities 
Hostel Imona strives to make you feel at home. There is a shared kitchen available for you to put your chef hat on. There is a huge living/guest room where you can hang out with friends or make new global connections over a cup of tea or coffee. Take the conversation outside to the garden area over a cold glass of beer or wine.

The Staff
We are around and ready 24/7 to attend you needs. We speak (Russian, English) or attempt to speak your language. The owner, Maya takes pride and honor of accommodating guests all around the world. The name of her granddaughter is to be a symbol of Uzbek hospitality and kindness in Samarkand.  

Hostel Imona is strategically located on a road that connects the new and old city of Samarkand. Few minutes walk down the road will lead you to the historic and breathtaking part of the city. Few minutes walk up the road will take you to the modern part of Samarkand.
